Microwave Repair

1. Microwave Not Heating
    •    Make sure the door is closing completely and the latch is secure.
    •    Try heating a cup of water for 1–2 minutes to test function.
    •    If it still doesn’t heat, the magnetron or diode may need professional service.

2. Turntable Not Spinning
    •    Check that the glass tray is seated correctly on the support ring.
    •    Remove any debris or obstructions under the turntable.
    •    Ensure the turntable motor isn’t jammed or broken.

3. Buttons or Display Not Working
    •    Unplug the unit for 2–3 minutes to reset it.
    •    If only certain buttons fail, the touchpad or control board may be faulty.
    •    Check for moisture buildup behind the control panel.

4. Microwave Making Unusual Noises
    •    Make sure no metal or foil is inside.
    •    Inspect the turntable and fan area for loose items.
    •    Loud buzzing or humming may indicate a failing magnetron.

5. Sparking or Arcing Inside
    •    Turn off the microwave immediately.
    •    Remove any metal, foil, or utensils.
